A: You can rest assured that Diane and I care a great deal about the safety and security of your home and your canine companion. We are fully bonded and insured! We conveniently live in the neighborhood, and own our rescue companion Buddy for 12 years.
Q: What if there is an emergency with my dog while I'm away on vacation?
A: NYC Walking Buddy maintains up-to-date information on 24-hour emergency animal hospitals in our service area. Before your departure Diane and I will prepare an information file on your dog which includes telephone numbers where you can be reached, the name of your Veterinarian, and notes on all other pertinent information that you would like us to know in case of an emergency.
Q: Can I be assured the same Dog Walker each time?
A: Yes however, if there is a change you will be notified prior to your dog’s scheduled walk.
Q: Do you offer boarding?
A: No, however, dog sitting is available.
Q: When I give you keys, how do I know they are safe?
A: We do not identify the names on the keys. They are kept in a secure area in our home office. A doorman is also on duty 24/7.

A: We service all dog owners who live in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Our offices are located at 55 East End Ave.
Q: Are you bonded and insured?
A: Yes, we are. For the safety of your dog and your home, we are bonded and insured. Please contact us at 917-710-3939 should you wish to examine our policies.
Q: Will you pick up my dog at my home?
A: Yes, we will. We will initially meet with you and your companion (s) at your home to ensure that your dog feels secure and happy. Once you request our services, we do ask that you provide us with a copy of your keys.
Q: Will my dog get personalized attention and care?
A: Always! Personalized service is a cornerstone of NYC Walking Buddy. Even during dog walks, we keep the pack to a minimum; we don't take more than 3 dogs on a semi-private (group) walk. We will make sure that your dog gets along with others, and you're always free to request individual walks.
Q: Will my dog be on a leash?
A: It is required by the City that all dogs are required to be on a leash with the exception of being within the confines of a dog run.
Q: What do you do with the other dogs when picking up or dropping off a dog?
A: We always work in a team of 2. When one of us is picking up or dropping off a dog, the other one will remain outside minding the other dogs.
Q: What if my dog gets sick while under your care?
A: : Before we start our service, we'll always discuss a precautionary plan of action with you. If your dog does show signs of illness during a walk, we will contact you immediately and follow your instructions. Keeping your dog happy and healthy is important to us because we treat every dog as if they're our own. The particulars of our policies will be discussed before you sign up for our services.

A: For dogs that are walked daily, payment is due the last Friday of each month.
